Took my 2022 toyota tundra in for engine replacement per the recall notifacation i got in the mail. Called on a thursday and they hsd me scheduled to drop it off the following monday. They put me in a 2025 Toyota sienna van as a loaner while mine was being serviced. A week later they call and say all done so i head up there. Cindi was the service advisor and she was just fantastic!!. I gave cindi a 100.00 tip to pass along to the technician that serviced my truck...At 1st she was reluctant to take it but i insisted. A few minutes later Chuck( the tech) came into her office and gave me the tip back(after being in the business 48 years and owning my own shop for the last 28 years of that ) i know service techs dont get paid in full for warranty work. It calls for less labor time and thats how those guys put food on the table to feed their families. I insisted and stuffed it back into his pocket. Again he gave it back and said he just dont feel right taking it. "I've done a few of those and beat book time so i did alright anyways". The professionalism and integrity by these two was incedible...nobody knows better than i in todays world it is more than difficult to take care of the general public and i just wanted to spend a minute and say i am more than pleased with the service i've gotten after multiple visits.Thanks again Cindi and Chuck(and the rest of the toyota service staff) and i hope you get special recognition from mr. I reviewed Thayer Toyota in Bowling Green three years ago as having great customer service. I decided that after three more years of excellence, I needed to revisit and update my review. I want to mention the apparent competence of the unseen and thus unidentified mechanics who've done excellent work over the years on my automobile (that is now a senior citizen like me), but I especially want to praise the front-line guys with whom I speak to make my appointment and who discuss with me and coordinate my car's inspection and work to be performed. Tom and Brian are among the nicest people I do business with, and I actually enjoy our interactions. I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else for service, and it's due to the phenomenal customer service delivered by a great staff. Had another phenomenal service performed January 15, 2025! After a battery failure, Brian worked me into a full schedule, fully honored my battery's warranty, and did so in a timely, professional, and friendly manner. Best dealership and staff in my many decades of Toyota ownership!

LOVE the car I bought there but brought it in to fix the seat my boyfriend broke they did an amazing job doing that, but I had an airleak in my tire and they tried to tell me the tire pressure sensor needed replaced when it didn't need replaced, I just got the tire fixed for free. Then I brought it in for an oil change early on accident they discounted the oil change but told me I'd need my brakes replaced by winter so I called around winter and talked to someone else and she looked at my report and said they're fine and I just got them looked at again and someone else said they're fine...not a big fan of their mechanics they do great work but don't let them tell you what's wrong with the car, you have to tell them.

My son brought in our Toyota Prius for service. The service manager assessed it and advised not fixing it due to the price. Thayer sales said they'd purchase it for less than the cost of the service assessment, but I agreed to it. Purchased my car from here, had many services done, but now they suddenly decided to not commit to the time they told me and did not call me to tell me anything had change. Big fan of my Toyota, and I’ll stick with Thayer—but that’s **despite** their service center experience, not **because** of it. Walked in—ghost town. Set the stopwatch on my phone: **4 minutes** before someone finally walked in to help me. And because there was only **one** person working, the phone rang endlessly in the background while I got checked in. Not exactly a welcoming first impression. Then, in the waiting room, a service rep came in calling for "Tony." There were only **four** of us in the room, so not many people to keep track of. After repeatedly calling Tony’s name with no response, another customer finally suggested, “He’s not in here—maybe try giving him a call?” Maybe my standards are too high, but **recognizing customers' faces and names seems like a basic expectation** for a service rep. And then there’s the coffee. A **burnt, stale** brew from a Bunn coffee maker. I don’t usually use creamer, but I was desperate to make it drinkable. The only option? **Powdered creamer.** No stirring sticks, so I had to awkwardly swirl it around, trying not to burn my fingers. Just took my first sip—**it’s lukewarm.** Perfect. Maybe **Bondes Ford has spoiled me.** They have **custom coffee machines, private work cubicles, a fridge stocked with waters,** and an ambiance that almost makes me *excited* to get my car serviced. Ford even **picks up and drops off my car from my house for free**—so I don’t even have to take advantage of their nice lounge. **Thayer, step it up.** The bar has been raised, and I hope you rise to the occasion.

I made a 2:00 O'clock appointment for an oil and had to wait over 2hrs for my car to be finished. No apology, no nothing...very poor customer service. Associate made lots of excuses. This happens to lot of their customers. My wife has had the same experience. Everyone I work with that has done business with them has had the same experience. Even their sales staff personal are rude while you shop their lot inventory. They do not like "just looking ". Very bad service... I'd been better off to go to Belle tire and only wait an hour...if that. I do not recommend this dealership for anything. Ol' man Thayer would be pissed if he knew this was going on.....or maybe not...😕

If it were up to me, I would give them zero stars. We dropped off a car for service with Brian and they held it for two days with no updates through their service portal. Their phones were also down when we were attempting to get an update. Not until we told Brian that our plans changed and we wanted to pick up the car the next day that we finally got some progress. At that point we just wanted to pick up the car, so we texted them the morning after through their service number and let them know. After business hours started, they let us know that miraculously they had actually already started completing the diagnostic while their app showed that it wasn’t even in progress the day before. They took our money for a total diagnostic without completing the job- our car was misfiring and we needed to know what specific coil was the issue. Brian and the rest of the team were unprofessional and rude, making us pay for essentially a computer plug in session that told us nothing specific and Autozone would do for free. A total waste of time and money, would highly recommend going elsewhere.

Took my Prius in for a check engine diagnostic. Rep. told me the 12 V died in the shop and I had to buy a new one to finish the diagnosis. I called BS, took the car to an honest mech who said I had over 2 yrs earranty left and the battery was fine.
